about

Welcome home.
This is my Forever Home, and it's a song that's been in the making for several years now. The heart of it is of Paonia, my home town. The melody came through as I was playing Howard's 12-string guitar, a relic of a dear friend that had just been given into my keeping by another dear friend. I was sitting atop my car up on a mesa overlooking the valley, watching sun set over my dearly beloved mountains.

Years later I was on a road trip with a friend, and the bridge appeared to me as I was observing the stars above Cochiti Lake, New Mexico.

Now I release it to all of you, with love and gratitude in my heart.
May this music bring you joy and comfort.
Be well!

Love,
JAM

lyrics

I sit and watch the stars appear
Above Lamborn mountain
Up high, so far, yet clear
Oh heart of hearts
In awe, I am

And as I watch the sun setting
Above our mountain valley
A part of me is here
This place is always in me
A song, a dream, a laugh
The ocean in a drop
Inside the heart of God
Within the inner sanctum

You just keep on
Lifting me
You just keep on
Lifting me higher
You just keep on
You're lifting me
You just keep on
You're lifting me higher

Stars they all appear
Paonia skies so clear
Shining as they play
And the Milky Way!
You are not alone
If you feel far from home
Just come back again (star-friend)

You just keep on
Lifting me
You just keep on
You're lifting me higher
You just keep on
You're lifting me
You just keep on
You're lifting me higher
